Our Story

Hi! I'm kristina - the founder of Pamana
Born in the Philippines and raised in Canada, I’ve spent much of my life moving across cultures—living and working in Canada, the US, London, and Hong Kong before settling with my family in Singapore.
In a previous chapter of my life, I spent over a decade working in the non-profit world, supporting communities and causes I cared deeply about.
When we moved to Asia, it felt like the right time to start something new—something that combined purpose with creativity.

Rooted in Craft, Guided by impact
Pamana is a venture born from a love for exceptional craftsmanship and a belief that beautiful objects can and should carry meaning.
Pamana brings together handcrafted beaded jewellery from South Africa and sculptural brass pieces from the Philippines. These pieces are not only visually stunning but also represent the dedication and skill of the artisans who meticulously create them.
At Pamana, our approach to ethical and sustainable practices rooted in four core commitments. We believe these principles not only define our brand but also ensure we create a positive impact: fostering Fair Artisan Partnerships for equitable compensation; Empowering Women artisans to achieve economic independence; prioritizing Sustainable Materials to minimize our environmental footprint; and Preserving Craft by championing traditional techniques.
